The sky was amazing last night and we were able to make some distinctly different photos: one with the rising moon and one with the setting sun. On Friday, there was a blue moon, which is when there is a second full moon during a calendar month. Apparently, having two full moons in one month doesn’t happen that often; hence the saying, “once in a blue moon”. Katie & Kellen were married on SAT, just one day removed from the blue moon, but the moon still looked amazing to us, so we went down to the water’s edge while it was rising over Lake Champlain. Just 3o minutes prior, we were on the other side of the shore from the Grand Isle Lake House, where they were married, to enjoy the sunset and make some photos. What an amazing night!
