It’s important that couples be communicative about what types of photographs are important to them. For Shannon and Jeffrey, who were married at Shelburne Farms, it was important to them that we carve out some time before the ceremony to make some creative portraits. We met the week prior to the wedding to scout some beautiful locations. On the day of their wedding, we were able to go to four of them, including the amazing Breeding Barn, a stand of locust trees and a lookout over Lake Champlain. I’m happy we allotted as much time as we did because we were able to make some distinct images from each location.
