Even though the day may go by in a blur, it’s my job to bring your wedding back into focus through photographs.
My goal is to provide the best possible experience. It’s essential to my work that you feel comfortable, confident, and truly in the moment. By creating a warm, relaxed connection with you and your guests, I simultaneously blend in while remaining close by. I am not just your photographer, but a friend.
My photojournalistic style means I gravitate to the moments, and do so without being intrusive. I’m not there to manufacture anything. My focus is on telling your unique story, letting the emotion of your wedding shine through.
It’s a joy and honor to deliver a family heirloom that will be enjoyed time and time again.
I cherish spending quality time with my family & friends, exploring the beauty of Vermont by skiing, hiking, or quietly enjoying a beautiful day. These moments fill my soul and inspire my creativity. It’s no surprise that family and nature are themes in my work.
Having photographed for news outlets such as the Associated Press, I use my experience as a photojournalist to tell better stories. My couples can then fully experience their wedding, knowing that I will provide them a way to relive each moment in rich detail. It’s humbling that I’m trusted with this job. It’s why I’m compelled to continually re-double my efforts to be the best visual storyteller possible.
I make a simple promise to each of my couples: that nobody will work harder to capture the beautiful, unscripted, wild and emotional ride that is their wedding. With every moment that I carefully photograph and reflect back to them, I renew my love for my craft. -Andy Duback
