I appreciate the fact that a wedding is inherently unique and fast-moving, and that it’s my job to creatively tell the story. Even though the day may go by in a blur, it’s my job to bring it back into focus through photographs.
From our first conversation to the day of your wedding, my goal, first and foremost, is to put you at ease. It’s essential to my work that you feel comfortable, confident, and truly ‘in the moment’, so I create a warm, relaxed connection with you and your guests. I blend easily into the background, yet remain closeby as your advisor and friend.
My photojournalistic style allows me to gravitate to the moments, and do so without being intrusive. I’m not there to manufacture anything; I’m there to tell the authentic story. Yes, I sometimes put on my director’s hat, helping pose people for a portrait, but my ultimate goal is to have the emotion of the day shine through. All the while, I aim to be easy-going, fun-loving and thorough, so that couples can be themselves, confident in my dedication to telling their story.
In the end, I am excited and honored to be able to deliver a family heirloom that will be enjoyed for years to come. -Andy Duback
