Saturday’s forecast called for a “wintery mix” with an expected “4-8 inches of snow”. These are generally meteorologically troubling words when coupled with a wedding. Generally. But, this was Sarah and Chad’s wedding . . . not your average couple, who might shy away from falling snow and knee-deep drifts. Rather, they beamed when looking out the window, watching the graceful flakes blanket the trees and ground. I have to say: I loved them for it!! The gentlemen strapped on their snow shoes and the ladies sported fur-trimmed boots. We went up the hill from the Stone Mountain Arts Center to a beautiful property with a timber-framed house and horse barn (complete with two majestic horses). We were able to make some of my favorite photographs there. Then, back to the Arts Center for the ceremony and reception. The wedding was truly a blast . . . congrats, Sarah and Chad!!
